Brothers, Friends, Family, and Fellow Riders-

We can’t thank you enough for the love and support you’ve provided, it truly helps to make these difficult days just a little bit easier.  We hope that each and every one of you will join us on the poker run to celebrate our Brother, but before you finish your registration, we ask that you take a few moments to get to know Big Dog and Little Bird.

Words can not sufficiently express how much you mean to the success of our event. This event would not be possible without your tremendous support. Your time, talents, and funding make this event possible.

Your donation to this event will help change the life of Lisa Michelle "Little Bird". With your contribution, we give heartbroken lives, who have seen their darkest hour something they need: happy new memories and love. And, your support honors " Big Dawg" and Little Bird.

Iron Brotherhood is dedicated to giving, but we need your help to accomplish this goal. We need your help to make this possible, and to give hope for those left behind.

Please come enjoy a fun filled Poker run and festivities to help us support "Little Bird" with proceeds from this event.

Takes place on July 14th, 2018

Who is the Iron Brotherhood?

The Iron  Brotherhood is a nation wide motorcycle club, that is a minimum 70% Law enforcement. We believe in God, Family, and our Brotherhood. We are not interested in being a large club. We value quality over quantity. We seek brothers who share our values and views.

Who Is "Big Dawg"

Marvin "Chip" Weeks was a patched member of the Iron Brotherhood SoCal chapter - A  gentle giant, protector of all, and would brighten a room with a smile for miles. He was a loving grandfather, son, brother, and engaged to be married to Lisa Michelle "Little Bird". Chip's sister Cheryl suffers from an agressive form of MS. Chip was dedicated to supporting Cheryl and was an active member in the MS Society. Chip tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on 4/02/18

Who Is "Little Bird"

Lisa Michelle was Big Dawg's high school Sweet Heart. They had recently reconnected and were engaged to be married. Lisa Michelle works in the County of Riverside helping persons experiencing homelessness get back on their feet and actively serves in church. They were a perfect match like "Snoopy and Woodstock".

My Dearest Big Dawg,

9.27.2018. You said that I would thank you for the rest of my life for preserving our date. I wanted to marry sooner and you, the ever romantic,  insisted that we hold out for 9.27. 9.27 was the first day we beheld one another after 30 years. And, it was magic. You picked me up and held me like you would never let me go. And you didn’t. 9.27 was also your daddy’s birthday and you took me to his grave side with your sister. I felt awkward being there, like I didn’t belong. You insisted I was right where you wanted me to be.

Oh, I remember that look in your eye as we cuddled the morning of your death. I queried, “What’s dancing behind those amber eyes”, having learned that it’s not wise to directly ask a man what he’s thinking. You mused, “I’m imagining our life together”. Our life together. We’d been building our future and we had so many plans. My heart hurts as I remember how much faith you had in me. You partnered with me, going to conferences, reading books, talking, planning…

Funny, it’s the little things I miss most. I will never again get to rub your precious feet and watch your eyes get heavy as your head sinks into your pillow. I will never again get to rest my head on your chest and feel the security of your embrace. I will never again get to hold your hand and try to keep pace with your long strides on our walks.

Not long ago, I wondered aloud when you first knew you loved me and you answered that you only knew when you were confident that you never wanted to let me go - 9.27 - that first day we beheld one another after 30 years.

Though it was not as I envisioned, I got to walk with you down the aisle. I didn’t know that I would be carrying you in an urn and holding you close to my heart as I followed the priests, to honor you at your funeral. Though we didn’t make it to the day of our vows, I got to be with you until death do us part, just as I promised. We even got to have a giant reception.

I will miss you forever my love and will cherish 9.27 the rest of my life.
